"Well, this little maneuver's gonna cost us 51 years!" - Cooper, Interstellar(2014)

This is a 3D animation of Gargantua, the supermassive black hole shown in the movie Interstellar. This black hole was originally crafted by DNEG with readings and theoretical possibilities from many scientists.

Done in Blender, it took many hours of trial and error to follow AlaskanFX(YouTuber)'s tutorial to the t, at least for the most part. 

There isn't much 3D modelling as there was texturing.
